Human species 'may split in two'

Humanity may split into two sub-species in 100,000 years' time as predicted by HG Wells

Evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry of the London School of Economics expects a genetic upper class and a dim-witted underclass to emerge.

The descendants of the genetic upper class would be tall, slim, healthy, attractive, intelligent, and creative , the "underclass" humans who would have evolved into dim-witted, ugly, squat goblin-like creatures.

men will exhibit symmetrical facial features, look athletic, and have squarer jaws, deeper voices and bigger penises. Women, on the other hand, will develop lighter, smooth, hairless skin, large clear eyes, pert breasts, glossy hair, and even features.

The logical outcome would be two sub-species, "gracile" and "robust" humans similar to the Eloi and Morlocks foretold by HG Wells in his 1895 novel The Time Machine.

Since when did 'economists' know diddly about evolution.

His description sounds right out of the "Justice League of america" comic book physiognomy blueprint, versus the orcs.

I can imagine which side of the evolutionary fence he figures that HIS progeny will be on.

uhhh...is he for real? How exactly does one foretell the "pertness" of breasts 100,000 years from now?....ludicrous!

You know, I got the same impression and listening to Ron rave I suspect there is more to be read into this. lol it reads like he is stating his ideal. When you look at human evolution and what drives it, well lets just say it doesn't take rocket science to see why HomoSapiens are built the way we are. Evolution is not completely without choice.
